WHAT DOES MEMBERSHIP COST?
The cost of a membership is $150 and there is no annual fee.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN NOW?
When you join the Co-op, you become part owner of an independent, community-owned business that supports the local economy, ethical purchasing and human cooperation. Your investment also builds equity for the co-op helping us stay strong and giving us the capital to grow.

WHY A CO-OP?
Wolfeboro Community Food Co-op is intentionally structured as a democratically owned and run cooperative. By joining together we have been able to grow a business that provides high quality natural foods and products to Wolfeboro and the surrounding communities. Collectively we are the owner of our own food source! 

ARE THERE OTHER BENEFITS?
Yes, besides having natural foods available to the community, your member benefits include: member-only sales and specials, 15% discount on special order case purchases, patronage rewards (during profitable years) and the right to vote for the board of directors and run for a seat on the board as well.

WHERE IS THE STORE LOCATED?
The store is located at 50 Bay Street in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. 

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO SHOP AT THE CO-OP STORE?
No, the Co-op store is open to the public everyone is welcome!
  

CAN I BUY MORE THAN ONE SHARE?
Absolutely! Our Co-op has a one person, one vote system but you are welcome to support the Co-op by buying multiple shares or making a donation! (See Donation Page)

OTHER THAN BECOMING A MEMBER-OWNER, HOW CAN I HELP?
Talk to your friends, co-workers, teammates, book group, play group and family and ask them to join you in supporting this wonderful, community-owned food store by becoming members.

--And, we will always need talented and enthusiastic people to join the board or volunteer to work. 

HOW CAN I LEARN MORE ABOUT CO-OPS?
The National Cooperative Business Association and the International Cooperative Alliance support and promote co-ops nationally and internationally.
